“Alabama’s Most Trusted Journalist”
Hailing from the swampland, Dale first left Florida for the Army where he was stationed at Fort Lewis, Washington. Dale reached the rank of Sergeant while serving as a Networks Systems Operator and maintainer in the Army Signal Corps (he would do a short and uneventful stint in the reserves after 9/11 as well).
After the Army, Dale began his radio career in 2003 while attending the University of Florida with “The Attack Machine”, a weekly program on WSKY-FM in Gainesville, Florida. Defined by a relentless authenticity and unapologetic humor, Dale made a name for himself in Panama City, and got fired in Birmingham, before calling North Alabama home in 2007.
Dale has since been nationally recognized with features in Breitbart, the Washington Post, and The Seth Meyers Show, and awarded multiple times as a Top Talker in Talkers Magazine. He has also made guest appearances on CNN, MSNBC, HLN, and even made an appearance during a White House press briefing.
Not only is Dale a daily contributor to Yellowhammernews.com, he also hosts a weekly award-winning television program, Yellowhammer News’ “Alabama Politics This Week” that airs every Sunday at 10 AM on WVNN and all over the state of Alabama on radio and cable networks. (Somehow he was also an undefeated pro-wrestling tag team champion, as well)
Dale continues to be the voice of politics in the Huntsville area and remains a controversial yet straightforward source of news and information for North Alabama and is now heard all over the state of Alabama in various forms.

The Dale Jackson Show

The most important radio show in Alabama, The Dale Jackson Show, is the first and best source for news and politics in Alabama. From local news to national headlines, Dale Jackson tells it straight and insists on straight-talk from our leaders. He cuts through the political platitudes and demands answers. The Dale Jackson Show airs weekday mornings from 5AM–9AM on NewsTalk 770AM/92.5FM WVNN… Depend on it!
Emily Hayes
Emily’s love for entertaining folks helped her land her first radio gig at 92.1 The Zew (WZEW) in February 2008. She was bit by the radio bug and has been involved in some sort of broadcasting outfit ever since. Her career has carried her all across the state; starting in Mobile, moving to Montgomery, then to Birmingham. She is excited to add Huntsville to her resume as her ability to work well with others has led her to join The Dale Jackson Show.
Bugsy
Born and raised in Huntsville, AL, Bugsy has never had a “normal” job, and firmly believes she was not built for one. As a child, she had an intense passion for virtual pet games (like Neopets and Webkinz) and lied her way into a job working for one of these games at the age of 12. By 16, Bugsy was running multiple websites and web-games with over 120,000 members. Because of her proclivity for lying at an early age, Bugsy managed to accrue enough work experience before 18 to land a well-paying job working for a social media conglomerate at 19, doing community management and content moderation. After working there for over 4 years, she was laid off. Opting not to keep moving forward within the same career path, Bugsy instead Googled “fun and interesting part time jobs Huntsville,” one of the results was a posting for a board op at WVNN. Both Dale Jackson and Yaffee have admitted that, during their interview with Bugsy, their first impressions of her were that she was “weird.”
They were correct.
Bugsy has also worked as a freelance artist since 2011 and likes to pretend she’s a good screenwriter in her free time.
