Forecast Summary
The dry airmass remains in place for one more day before the return of more humid conditions and a chance for rain. We need the rain. Mostly clear today with afternoon temperatures around 90. Hotter and more humid tomorrow with temps in the mid 90's and an isolated shower and thunderstorm chance in the afternoon and evening. The better chances for rain come Sunday and Monday.

Mostly clear. Low 63.

Mostly clear early, then more clouds and isolated showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon and evening. The chance for rain 20%. High 94.

Sunday Through Tuesday
Showers and thunderstorms Sunday. The chance for rain 60%. High 88. Scattered to widely scattered showers and thunderstorms Monday. High in the upper 80's. A slight chance for showers and thunderstorms Tuesday. High in the upper 80's.




Marty Broman
Meteorologist

Marty has been a radio newsman for 35 years. As a youngster growing up in Kansas, he built and operated his own low powered radio station to broadcast the news to everyone in his house. Marty's broadcasting career has taken him from Kansas then on to Missouri in the 1980's, where he did both radio and television news, and finally to Alabama and WVNN in 1997. He's won several broadcast journalism awards over the years. Marty has traveled with and covered former Presidents Ronald Reagan, George H.W. Bush and Bill Clinton along with former Vice Presidents Dan Quayle and Al Gore. He has covered several breaking national news stories for national networks. He's a graduate of Mississippi State University's Broadcast Meteorology program. When he's not covering the news and weather, Marty's enjoys working on the family cattle farm, fly fishing and watching his son and daughter compete in sports. E-mail Marty.
