Nobody loves radio more than Pamela Furr. Since hitting the airwaves as a DJ when she was 14 years old, it's been her lifelong obsession to poke, prod, ponder and puruse every topic from politics and philosophy to religion and sex in the city.

This ballsy redhead has quite a diverse (some would say schizophrenic) career history, having done everything from writing chart topping gospel songs to singing backup on albums for the likes of Garth Brooks and Dolly Parton. She was the assignment editor for Channel 4 News, Nashville, Tennessee's NBC affiliate. She's been a disc jockey for nearly every genre of music except gangsta rap and Hungarian bluegrass, and she's been the producer for the number one radio talk show in Nashville.

While on a 2002 vacation in New York City, Pamela had the chance to visit with and watch one of her role models, Sean Hannity, in action. That experience brought her lifelong dream of being a radio talk show host to the surface once again. As soon as she returned to Nashville, she set that dream into motion. Convincing her bosses to give her a shot at a weekend show of her own. Her impressive guests included such diverse personalities as country icon Naomi Judd, controversial Reverand Fred Phelps, KISS-member Gene Simmons, the late Colonel David Hackworth, and then Tennessee Governor-elect Phil Bredesen.

In October 2004, Pamela moved to Springfield, Illinois, where she was given the chance to go from weekly talk show queen to daily talk show diva. With a cosmopolitan figuratively in one hand and a microphone in the other, Pamela brought her southern charm to this midwestern capitol city and took the town by storm. She was the winner of Springfield's favorite Conservative for 2005 by the readers of the Illinois Times. Pamela was voted one of Springfield's favorite talk show hosts in 2006. Pamela has been honored by the Illinois Women in Leadership, the Marine Corp League and the Illinois National Guard for her continued support for those in uniform deployed Iraq and Afghanistan.

Pamela cares. She cares about her country, her God and her friends. She cares about truth, justice and honesty. She cares about being informed, and wants you to be as well. Sometimes she cares too much. She may charm your pants off one day, and piss you off the next. She may make you laugh, and she may make you cry. But she will make you think. And THAT may be what she cares about the most.
